What do you do to retain the information learned?
Are those verbs causing you headaches?
One common challenge of most Spanish language learners is to retain information acquired during their classes.
Are you one of those who struggle to remember verbs, for example?
Those verbs endings can be a bit confusing. When you start learning irregular verbs it could get tricky if you haven’t quite managed to learn those regular verb endings.
Have you tried using flash cards or post-it notes?
They can be placed in areas where you could see them easily in your house or workplace. Don’t forget to replace them after a couple of weeks or so, otherwise you will stop looking at them at some point.
Something I like to do to remember words is to associate them with something that maybe sounds similar or has some sort of connection with the word.
One of my lovely student’s she is musical, and I love her creativity. She uses songs! She changes the words to remember things like the verb endings.
What works for you? That’s what you need to find out.
Practice a little every day or couple of days. Try to associate your learning journey with things that matter to you, that will help make your learning journey easier and more fun.
